On behalf of my Mum, Carole and myself... I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind messages and cards received on the sad loss of WALTER (Wally) DADE. We would also like to thank everyone for their beautiful floral tributes and kind donations received on behalf of "The Palliative Care Nurses" and to thank those who attended Wally's funeral, which brought us great comfort knowing that he was as loved by everyone else as we loved him!

We would also like to thank Gordon Barbers Funeral Home for their excellent care and arrangements especially Terry for his caring, patience and kindness shown towards the three of us... at this difficult time..

I am very proud and priveleged to have had such a wonderful, loving and brave Grandad. I am lucky to have spent my 23 years with him in my life.

I will always remember and hold dear my most precious memories of him. From putting his hair in ponytails, to playing darts in the Garden, from trips to the seaside to playful debates over whose horse would win the Grand National!!!

Grandad never had to tell us how much he loved us (although he did so frequently) - we just KNEW. The love he felt for us was in everything he said, and did with us - and it is something nobody and nothing can take away.

I will never have to say 'Goodbye' because he will never ever leave me.
