  • If You Were 18 in America...

    Lewis, if you were an American turning 18, you could register to vote and the newspaper could legally print your name, address, etc., should you run afoul of the law. Other than that, life would remain unchanged until your 21st birthday, at which point you could go to bars (pubs) without a forged identification (no longer risking running afoul of the law). Aren't you glad you're a Brit? Belated Happy Birthday, young man!
