Iris Preece : Death

PREECE Iris passed away on the 17th January 2010 aged 81 years. Formerly of Honiton and Axminster. Widow of Edwin. Loving mum of Elisabeth and Sylvia. Funeral Service to be held at Crossroad Christian Centre, Seaton on Friday 29th January at 2.00pm. "Now at peace with her Lord." Please wear bright colours. No flowers by request please but donations if desired for Seaton Baptist Church may be given at the Service or sent c/o Overmass & Chapple Funeral Directors, Chapple Court, Queen Street, Seaton, Devon, EX12 2RB

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free

I'm following the path God has chosen for me.

I took His hand when I heard him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way;

I've now found peace at the end of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;

Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

Look forthe sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savoured much;

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all to brief;

Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and peace to thee,

God wanted me now-He set me free
