JONES Kathleen (Kathy) peacefully after a sudden illness, surrounded by family on Thursday 28th January 2010 at the R D & E Hospital, aged 68 years. Beloved wife of Peter. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Family service in The Exeter and Devon Crematorium at 11:15am on Thursday 4th February followed by a Thanksgiving service for family and friends at St Mary's Parish Church, Ottery St Mary at 2pm. Family flowers only please, but Donations for R D & E Hospital Intensive Care Trust Fund or Ottery St Mary Bowling Club or Ottery St Mary Short Mat Bowling Club, can be given at the Church service or C/o F J Luxton & Son, Funeral Directors, Ottery St Mary, EX11 1BE

7/2/2010. I cannot begin to put into words what it meant to me and to Kathy's and my families to see you all at Kathy's Thanksgiving Service on Thursday 4th February last. Kathy and I moved down to Ottery St Mary less than seven years ago and it was just overwhelming to walk in and see so many people paying their respects. Thank you seems totally inadequate, but those two words convey my heartfelt thanks to you all.

My thanks also to Sheila Walker for two moving and beautiful services, and to Sue Luxton, Alan Baker and staff at F J Luxtons for their friendly, supportive and professional service.

I would like to also say that I witnessed the NHS at its best whilst Kathy was in hospital, not only to Kathy, but to members of both families. Their level of care was second to none and for that we are eternally grateful.

To my Colombian family, Martha, Felipe, Lucho, Mami and Papi, I love you all and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the love and care you gave to Kathy whilst she was in Santa Marta.

Finally, I thank you all for the many cards I received expressing your sympathy and support and that you will miss Kathy's sense of humour, something I am going to miss terribly, as there was not a day that went by without her making me laugh over some quirky quip.

I would be pleased if you wish to add your own tribute to Kathy. My love to you all. Peter
