MURPHY Mary Patricia. Died peacefully at home on Thursday May 27, 2010, aged 76 years, after a brave battle for many years with Alzheimer's. Beloved wife of Ronald, and much loved mother of Lorraine, Neil and Colette, and devoted grandmother to Patrick, Thomas, Alexandra, Antonia, Charlie, Harry and Anastasia. A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, June 11, at 11.30 a.m. at St. Thomas of Canterbury R.C. Church, St. John's Street, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Family flowers only please, but donations to Alzheimer's Research Trust, The Stables, Station Road, Great Shelford, Cambridge, CB22 5LR.

    You told me when my mum died that "if God walked into a field full of flowers, he would only take the most beautiful ones to heaven with him" He has added another beautiful one to his bouquet. Rest in peace Mary. XXX

    I used to care for Mary regulary, She was a beautiful and lovely lady. She will sadly be missed, my thoughts are with Ron and his family. Rest in peace xxxx

  • mum we will miss you but admire you for your long and undeserved struggle and battle

    my mother was in this world of superlatives over used in my opinion simply the best ever giving and assisting anyone without fear and never looking for favour her loss cannot be ignored and although she battled this dreadful and undeserved illnes fo more than 10 years she is now in a better place and will be sadly missed mum you are consistently missed and loved xxxxxxxxxx neil your son xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
