AGNEW KENNETH MALCOLM On July 8th, 2019, aged 86. Industrial Designer, MDes (RCA), FRSA, Principal Designer of the King’s Fund Bed, pioneer of practice-based design research at the Royal College of Art, Churchill Fellow, 1970, Professor of Design, University of Ulster, 1984-98. He lived at Horizons, his innovative house at Wreningham, Norfolk, which he designed and built with his own hands (with a little help from his friends). He sold it in 1984, bought it back in 1999 and continued to develop it as a 21st century house. He is much mourned by his wife Jean and son Giles. He will be buried at Wymondham and a service of celebration of his life will take place at 2.45 p.m. on Monday, July 22nd at All Saints Church, Wreningham.
