FINCHAM JACK LEWIS Daughter Julie and son-in-law Michael are heartbroken to announce that Jack Lewis Fincham passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 21st, 2020, aged 96 years. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Mayflower Court, Bowthorpe Care Village for his dementia care over the last 2 years. He is 'Dancing with his late wife Audrey again'. He will be sadly missed by all his caring family, especially by his granddaughter Michelle and husband Wayne and great-grandchildren Anya and Esmé, grandson Guy in the Czech Republic and by his late daughter Carol's family in New Zealand, grandchildren Dawn and Gary and his wife Linda and great-grandchildren Marie with new baby David. Jack will be remembered by many as the long term, kind, much loved caretaker of Woodside First Schools in Norwich. He was also known for his many wildlife conservation activities, especially his breeding and love of butterflies. The service will take place at Earlham Crematorium, Norwich, on April 8th at 2 p.m. Immediate family only due to current circumstances. Please think of Jack at this time. A memorial service will be arranged at a later date near his birthday to which all will be welcome to attend. Donations, if wished to Dementia UK c/o John Brown Funeral Services.
